Got spare cord and yarn?

Let's coil it!

Fabric basket coiling

What is it?

Fabric basket coiling is a wonderfully creative technique where cord is wrapped with yarn or strips of fabric, then coiled and stitched together to create colourful, textured baskets and bowls. By experimenting with different colours and textures, every basket becomes completely unique.

Who is the course for?

Perfect for ANYONE who loves colour, textiles and trying something a little different. It’s also ideal for crafters looking for creative ways to use up their yarn stash and leftover macramé cord.

No previous basket-making experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm for colour and creating!
